The Broadstone British Legion Golf Society plays 8 competitions throughout the year at a variety of local golf courses. Handicaps range from under 10 to 28 but primarily we meet for fun and friendship.

The handicap system now being used is based on the "Congu Handicap System", as used by all Golf Clubs.

The Overall Champion Golfer will be decided by the best score from 7 out of the 8 arranged fixtures.

When playing everything is organised for Members apart from any special arrangements and buggy hire, which should be made by the individual player with the Golf Course. The fixture list contains the contact details for each Golf Course being played this year.

After each event, we enjoy an excellent evening's cuisine at the Broadstone RBL Club in the Restaurant, which includes the presentation of prizes with fun and laughter.

Dress code is smart casual for a relaxed evening, unless otherwise detailed, for example an evening of "Hawaiian" themed shirts.

The society has its own notice-board in the Club - in the booth next to the restaurant servery.
